Everyone is talking about the weather! We had a two week heat wave in March so the fruit trees blossomed only to hit with heavy frosts after the heat wave. The frosts damaged the blossoms so fruit production will be low and it took out several local crops that broke ground too soon due to the heat wave. April was cold with below average precipitation. May was quite warm with below average

Andrew's Photo Session
Hello!! I can't believe that this Friday, Andrew will be 6 weeks old!! I want him to stay little forever! I am already feeling like time will fly faster than I ever imagined. That is why I am so glad that we had newborn photos done for him. We had a professional, (Lemonade Stand Photography) come when he was only 4 days old.
I wanted to share some of my favorites with you!!
I just love the hat and his sweet face here.
The butt...love it!
This one melts my heart!
He already looks so much older than this. I miss that face.
I think photos of babies sleeping are the best!
What a peanut!
I think this one is my favorite! :)
Toward the end of the session, he was wide awake.
This was the first time, we ever had someone come to our house and I just LOVED Stephanie!! I want to use her again in the fall and for Christmas cards. She was so nice even though Andrew pooped all over her and her blankets. If you live in the area, you need to use her!! I am so glad we did!
Did you do newborn photos with your baby?
Have a great day!
SAND SWIMMING POOLS
This is exactly my dreamt pool. If you know any company that builds this kind of sand swimming pools, please, put it (with the country of location) in the comments section below. I wish I could build a sand pool like this in my country.

Pot of Good and Plenty
Happy Weekend!
We are back with another guest post~ YAY!
Hi! It's Alison from Making a McHome again and I'm so glad to have another chance to guest post on House of Grace today.
Actually, Kent ate all of the Good and Plenty, but nevertheless- this DIY B-day gift is so easy and everyone oohd and aaad over my 5 minutes of easy work! You may have seen some similar ones floating around What you need: candy/ optional gift cards /
1. Hot glue skewers to the back of each candy box
2. Place foam square in pot
3. Cover square with moss
4. Place largest box in back middle
5. Arrange from there!
So easy!
I'll definitely be remaking this one for Kent on his B-day although I'll be subbing mini bottles for him. :) I also saw one with cigars for a new dad! So many possibilities...
Thanks for letting me share with you today!
Be sure to follow along or keep up with the fun in real-time.

Thanks so much Alison! This gives me a ton of neat ideas. You rock! Thanks for sharing and I hope that you are having a great weekend!

Hi Bonnie,
I just wanted to tell you that I have been a follower of your blog for over a year now..and I love it. You are an inspiration to me! You always get me in the mood to clean my house and organize (which I love but sometimes just need a little push). :0) Thank you for doing such a great job with pictures and all. It is really a fantastic blog.

I’m done 3 pounds in one week!! I know if I continue this average I will reach my weight loss goal by week 12!!!
I weighed myself this morning and I'm PSYCHED!! 4 pounds down and…(drumroll) 1 size smaller!!! Yup, I'm wearing pants today that fit great and they're a 10! In a couple more weeks I'll have lots of 12-14's to donate!! YAY!
I don't know if I'm more excited about our date night or the fact that I can fit back into a sexy pre-baby dress :)
Want to know more about me?
Here is a little story about my background and how I got into all
this stuff!
I am from a very large family!! By large, I mean HUGE! I am the oldest of 12 children. Yup, twelve, no typos there. Family has always been extremely important to me and I couldn't wait to grow up and have a family of my own!
I met my husband, Scott, when we were in high school! We were both 15 to be exact. We fell in love and were married at 19. Then we started our own family.
I have 4 children, Grace, Michael, Matthew and Andrew and they are my whole world!! I thank God for them everyday!
I want to give my kids the healthiest life I can and help others do the same. I started working from home about 2 1/2 years ago and love it! Shaklee has allowed me to earn a full-time income, help others and stay at home all at the same time! I also have fun dong it! :)
If we've just met- welcome! The best way to get plugged in is to follow House of Grace on Facebook!
After you have done that, you may want to explore my blog or visit my Shaklee Shop. These are my favorite products.
Either way, I'm honored that you've taken a little time out of your day to visit my site. I hope that it is helpful to you, and that I can continue to help you get organized, healthy, clean and help you create a Shaklee Business succeed beyond your wildest dreams. :)

Our New Guest Room
We recently finished off our basement!! With our newest addition, we needed more space!!
We moved our guest room down here and this is how it looks now.
We basically just moved all the furniture from upstairs down here. We didn't buy anything new.
Here is another view.
I have way too many pillows on the bed, lol!
I think it looks and feels cozy!!
We still have some more to do but I like it very simple and clean looking so it might stay this way for a while.
Do you have a guest bedroom?
Where is it in your house?
Have a great day!

Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
Hello! How are you today? I got a lot of response about me grinding my own grain so I thought I would share another kitchen secret with you.
We don't use corn or vegetable oil or any other type of cooking oil.
We only use coconut oil over here! There are a ton of health benefits from using this oil! We have been using coconut oil for years and years! Scott and I have been using it since we have been married almost 9 years ago and my Mom was using it longer than that.
I buy the huge 5 gallon buckets because we use so much!
Then, I transfer a little into the kitchen at a time. I cook everything with this stuff! We are totally used to the taste. I also buy a 5 gallon bucket of the Expeller Pressed because it doesn't taste like coconut but it doesn't have all the same health benefits.
I also like the coconut chips!
I use them in trail mix and as a toping for yogurt.
Have you ever tried coconut oil?
What do you use it for?
